220 Second to None is a 10,000 sq ft indoor baseball and softball training facility in Absecon led by former MLB catcher Johnny Monell Jr. Its summer offerings branded as 'camps' are position-specific clinics in catching, infield play and hitting that meet roughly one hour per session on a fixed weekday schedule over several weeks (for example, hitting Mondays and Wednesdays 5-6 p.m.), priced $300-$400. Age brackets run 8U and 10U through 13U, 14U and high school, with separate baseball and softball tracks. The facility also sells memberships, day passes, cage rentals, strength training and individual lessons, and hosts a travel team.

The progress he’s made is amazing. Definitely a lot more than he’d have done just with regular practices and working at home. Now we find ourselves doing whatever we can to squeeze in a session at 220 at least once a week. Whether a group session, a 1 on 1, or both. Great place, great coaches, great training.
