Music Camps, Classes & Lessons in California

Music is mostly lessons and classes that run through the year, with camps making up about a quarter of published music sessions nationally. Starts peak sharply in September, when most schools and studios begin their term.

Across the country, summer still carries a fair share, with June, July and August together accounting for more than a third of starts, so a holiday music week is easy to find. Weekly rates sit around $350 in the middle, and most programs take children from about 5 to 12. Theater and visual arts sit close to this heading and are worth browsing alongside it.
