The YWCA of Corpus Christi (4601 Corona Drive) runs YWTeens Summer Leadership Camp, a girls-only day camp for students entering 4th through 7th grade. Weeks run Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, and combine yoga, tumbling, swimming and art with workshop sessions in which professional women speak on career choices, STEM and STEAM topics, manners and hygiene, and cultural customs. The fee is $125 per week, with breakfast, lunch and snacks provided and scholarships available for families in the 78415 ZIP code.

★ser aleThe warm therapy pool is usually not working ,but yet the YWCA offer silver sneakers membership for seniors through insurance. Surely,this is the purpose of having this pool"therapy" used by the seniors. Do a service to us seniors who really need this pool. Very disappointed.

★★★Daniel GarciaI understand that there is a pandemic going on so certain things and places in the gym are closed but why the locker rooms? You shower in the locker room and are basically clean from germs or the virus. The machined are a bit out dated or generic. No tv's on the machines, no place to charge your phone as you work out, etc. The front desk people are very nice. I always get greeted by name before I scan my barcode. Other then that it is a gym. Wish it was just more updated as far as the equipment goes.
