Ive been going for years the only thing that's stopping me from giving them 5 stars is my 8 year old hates having to go to child watch while I work out. There's not much for him to do in there with the smaller kids

Ms. Amy at the Childwatch is such a wonderful lady! She is always welcoming. Excellent with the children. My daughter loves her!

great place to exercise, socialize, and bond. having a nice lobby to sit and sip is also nice! and being greeted with a smile when we enter and exit! The folks behind the desk are always uplifting and positive!

I love our local YMCA! I am a retiree and this is my place where I know I am always welcome. Everyone who works there is friendly even the cleaning staff. I take advantage of the fitness classes. All of the instructors are amazing and there are a wide variety of classes to choose from. I also enjoy walking on the track upstairs. The padded floor is great ! I have made many friends at the Y over the years . If you need a place to exercise where you can meet people this is your place. Thank you YMCA!

I really enjoy coming and I think it’s a great place for all ages. The YMCA of the Shoals is a large facility and they have a lot of classes. The pools are nice and I like the fact that they separate the locker rooms by ages. The only thing about the kids locker room is there is no machine to dry the swim suits so I had to take my 5 year old granddaughter into the adult locker room with me and they don’t like that. They have something going on all the time and you can definitely stay busy. When the kids are there it can be loud. They gym is 24/7 and that’s great for the adults. The staff aren’t particularly friendly. They have a lot of younger people working there who will assist you but they don’t go out of there way to be friendly. They do offer scholarships if you need one and you don’t have to have kids.
