I’ve been having a Ymca membership for a while now they have really great programs for families memberships but lately every time I walk in there is two young ladies and sometimes a young man in the front they have a really bad customer service they’re always making fun of the people making faces both of the girls are Hispanics and I know race doesn’t have nothing to do because I am Hispanic myself but my mom taught me right from wrong and most of the time that I’ve ever got called from the office and they are not in their best mood either I’m not sure what’s happening to this place but they need better customer service

Joining this gym has truly been life changing for our family. We have a family membership with three little ones (all 4 and under), and from the very beginning, we felt a genuine sense of belonging here. The staff and members feel like family. They love on my kids like they’re their own, which means everything to me as a mom. Childcare has been such a gift, not just for convenience, but for trust. Mrs. Lydia is incredible and one of the very few people I fully trust with my children. That alone speaks volumes. This gym has given my kids a place to socialize and thrive, while also giving me the time and space to show up for myself. That balance is priceless especially as a stay at home mom. The variety of group classes is amazing, and there’s truly something for everyone. On top of that, working with Amy one on one, has completely transformed my life. I used to struggle with gym anxiety, and she met me exactly where I was, patient, encouraging, and understanding. Now, she’s pushing me to become the strongest, healthiest version of myself, and I can confidently say I’m in the best shape of my life. If you’re looking for more than just a gym, if you want community, support, and real long lasting change, this is the place.

Our family had been a member here for 4 years now, great place to come for a serious workout or just having fun in the pool..... the family membership makes it truly affordable to be healthy and fit. My children had learned to swim here, their pool is always clean and available (with an active and attentive lifeguards). YMCA offer youth development, from after school programs, day camps, kids night out, etc. This summer they got summer camps ( tennis, basketball, football, volleyball, swimming, karate, etc). There are a few group fitness you can join in, like cycling, PiYo, P90X, Zumba and even Aqua Zumba. I’ve taken a picture of their current summer pool schedule and membership fees ...check it out. Their hours of operation: Monday to Thursday 5am to 9pm, Friday 5am to 8am, Saturday 8am to 5pm and Sunday 1pm to 5 pm

San Angelo YMCA is a great place to work out for persons of all levels of fitness. There is a workout for everyone. The weight room with weight machines and free weights. There is a mix of both casual lifters and serious lifters. There are two different types of bikes and of course treadmills in a separate workout room. There are aerobic and dance workout classes. Basketball and volleyball courts. With leagues in football, basketball, and volleyball for the kids and youth. The indoor swimming pool is great for all. There are usually two to three lanes dedicated for lap lanes. Also a good size hot tub to relax and help with aches and pains. The San Angelo YMCA is a great place for individuals or families. You will find the workout level you desire there.
