The Xenia YMCA (YMCA of Greater Dayton, at the REACH Center) runs an ACA-accredited, ODJFS-licensed summer day camp for children ages 5-12 in Xenia, Ohio, June through August. Campers rotate through outdoor activities, swimming, sports, arts and crafts, STEM, games, and field trips organized by weekly themes built around the Y's values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility. I went with family to use the warm water pool it was my first time being back in yrs and I brought family as guests it was the worst experience the lady from the front desk was nasty and rude to my family and then kept harassing us while we were swimming very rude bad experience and I haven't been back since and as a bigger girl this made me feel absolutely horrible like here I am trying to start a journey and get active to lose weight and gotta worry about the one thing I was afraid of which is why I didn't join a gym before now

The front desk staff were kind and helpful, making things fast and easy. Answer questions. I don’t know yet about how the trainer thing works, but there are a lot of them in uniform walking around as you’re working out. Will keep in coming!
