★Latoyah GatesNot a place for a child that you love and also has autism and a intellectual disability. My 11year old 6th grader attended this program for 3 days and was in 3 different verbal altercations with students in this program that stemmed from school my son had 2 physical altercations with the 7th and a 8th grader. I was notified by Ms. Q that the staff overheard a argument and my child saying that he wanted to shoot another student for continuing to bully him and I was also told that they overheard my child say that I (mom) was going to bring a stick and hit a 8th grader who punched my son in the face while calling my son slow/mentally challenged. I was told that my son is band for 1 year and that basically bulling is okay but threatening students is not ok. I was also told that the homicide rate in tn is so high they can’t take my son threats lightly. I asked Ms.Q who was watching my son and how could all this unfold in a “safe place” I was told a staff member and her boss Mark whome I spoke with about this situation. I do not want my son back in this program and I feel they all failed my son. If we want to talk about all the homicides we should also speak on the suicidal rates that bullying cause in Tennessee. I am my sons Advocate. God Bless America
