I went here a few weeks ago for school! It was a blast there and the sauna was amazing i would 100% go there again, but the drive from Saint Paul to ely was not the best

This place is insane. Insanely awesome! We just picked up our son and I have to say this is one of the last remaining nostalgic wilderness camps left in America. This place is straight outta a Wes Anderson movie. This is the camp that I wished I went to as a kid. Facilities are absolutely top notch. Counselors and staff are incredible. Just rad. I want to come back as a 12 year old!!!!

Widji is a gem for school groups. Our fourth thru sixth graders go every year and it's a highlight that they talk about for years to come. It's a magical place for kids to learn and grow. Staff and facilities are top notch.

First went as a chaperone for my oldest child’s sixth grade winter camp experience with his classmates in 2008? I’ve gone back, maybe ten times to their women’s retreats and it is a wondrous place. The staff are caring and kind. The food is excellent, lodging is rustic perfection (especially the winds cabins that I’d happily live in forever!) and their mission to serve all kids and provide gear if needed is truly amazing. Widjiwagan is a gem- go if you can, send your kids if you can, donate if you can.
