YMCA Camp DeBoer, run by the Ashland Family YMCA, is an overnight camp at Lake of the Woods in Southern Oregon for campers ages 6-17. Weeklong resident sessions offer canoeing, kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, swimming, archery, fishing, sports, and arts and crafts, with a Trails Quest backpacking option for ages 14-17. Free bus transportation to camp is provided.

★★★★★Laurel KaskursYMCA Camp DeBoer is AWESOME! My daughter, Ivy, had the opportunity to go there for 5th grade camp and I was lucky enough to be a chaperone! The staff/ instructors are all so much fun and full of energy, keeping kids engaged and busy from sun up to sundown with hands on activities like gaga ball, making wilderness shelters, learning about wetlands, mammals, trees, and fire. They have rowing, rock painting, tye dyeing, chalk drawing, and more. There was not a single dull moment! The cabins are very comfortable, the showers are hot and very clean, and the food was absolutely delicious! Never before in my whole life have I seen so many happy, smiling kids in one place, and, to be honest, I was pretty emotional when it was time to go home. My daughter is already saying how much she misses it and we just got back a few hours ago! Thank you for letting us be a part of the magic!🌲🌲🌲

They were all kind, caring, compassionate, respectful, open to listening, and always looking for ways to improve. I love that the camp is promoting getting kids out and into nature(as we ALL need more nature!) And giving them a good basic understanding of the territory we live in and igniting flames of curiosity in our kids. As a chaperone for a fifth-grade field trip, I learned a few new things and had a fun refreshing experience. As I always say: Be good humans, raise good humans and these guys are doing great work for our community. Thanks, Camp DeBoer I hope kids continue to have the opportunity to participate in a fun interaction with kind, intelligent individuals out in beautiful mother nature!
★★★★★Kris FaulknerCamp and staff were great. Cabins were nice. If i had any complaint, it would be the lack of beverages for adults. Lol it's water, coffee or tea. But I have a sweet tooth so 3 days without anything sweet was rough. 🤣 but it was a great camp.

Chaperoning a group of 6th grade girls had its challenges, but those chaotic moments will be forgotten, and I will instead remember the sweet memories of Outdoor School with the kids from Millicoma at Camp DeBoer 2024. 🥰
