Y-Knot’s Mobile prom event was truly a spectacular event. This event made me and my daughter feel very welcome. It was so heartwarming to see all the efforts they put in to making this event effortlessly beautiful, and to show these girls and boys, that someone cared about them and their tremendous milestone that they’re approaching. I saw so many girls and light up when they found their perfect dress. The boys quickly picked their items as well. My daughter’s is shy and they let me shop with her and she did not want everyone cheering for her, when she said yes to the dress. But they were able to give her a quiet cheer and she still participated in the Photo Booth’s and taking pictures, which sometimes she normally does not do. But nonetheless, the food and snacks and free mocktail drinks, were exciting as well. And we’re looking forward to seeing if my daughter won any of with the raffles. They took the time to truly look at every aspect of what someone needed for prom, to make this day, joyful, and feel like shopping at your own boutique.

I cannot say enough about the impact Y-Knot, Inc. has had on youth and families throughout Prince George’s County and beyond. This organization is truly a gift to the community. Y-Knot offers an incredible range of programs for students, young adults, and even parents.
