Xai Robotics runs a summer engineering camp in Coral Springs for students ages 10-18, Monday-Friday 9am-3pm, with campers grouped by age and experience. Rather than using pre-made kits, students design, build, code, and test real robots from scratch each week, focusing on a different machine and engineering challenge, and close each week with a live demonstration. Cost is about $699/week.
The practical details
We list only what the camp itself publishes, and programs change — dates, prices, ages and availability can all move after we check. Confirm the details on the camp’s own website and contact Xai Robotics Workshop directly before you register or pay. Last checked August 2026.

Powered by GoogleMy Middle School science students were taken on a field trip to XAI Robotics on April 21, 2026. I was pleasantly surprised as they were fully engaged, interacting with each other, listening attentively and participatory. For me, as their teacher looking on, I appreciated the gems from the facilitator - he told the students that they should not be afraid nor get frustrating when they fail the first time. They should look at the details and figure out what went wrong. Also, he told a student to guide his classmate, rather than doing the work for him, as that would be mentoring. Finally, learning often takes place outside of the classroom. Kudos to Xai Robotics and their team for providing this opportunity for students to have hands-on experience with engineering.
My son was very excited to join this program, but unfortunately our experience was disappointing. On his second day, when he was feeling anxious and having trouble with his computer, he tried to get a teacher’s attention by reaching for their arm instead of using his words. This was the only incident, and later that same day we were told he had a great session. However, we then received an email canceling his membership. What concerns me most is the lack of communication and support. Parents are not allowed to observe, even briefly, which makes it difficult to understand what’s happening in the classroom. There was no attempt to work with us as parents to help my son learn and succeed in a supportive way. It became very clear that this program is not about helping kids grow or teaching them resilience, it feels much more focused on rules and profit than on the children themselves. I would encourage other parents to ask detailed questions about how this program supports kids when they struggle, and how they partner with families. For us, it was clear that the commitment to children’s well-being was not there.
Wow!! This was by far the best field trip I have ever taken my students on in all the years I am teaching. They were prepared for us from the moment we got off the bus. They had all of my 42 students and chaperones engaged in the 3 activities they prepared for the students. I will definitely be taking another group of students back next year. I highly recommend Xai Robotics.
My daughter loves arts and crafts and I had no clue what my son was good at. We took a step forward and tried different things and this class has really sparked his creativity and opened a while new world for us. Im pleasantly surprised at how awesome this class is and Annalise has been such a joy in leading my son into this. Im so so grateful for xai robotics!!! I've been telling all my friends. Unfortunately we live in palm beach so not everyone is willing to drive to coral springs but to me it's worth it and my son thinks it's worth it too. He always looks forward to going there.
Super fun, my 9 & 8 yrs kids loved it. They learned and had tons of fun. Wish there was a place like this one when I was a kid! Fantastic experience 100% recommend to visit
