WRV Surf Camp, run by the Wave Riding Vehicles surf shop, teaches surfing to kids age 7 and up on the beach at 5th Street on the Virginia Beach Oceanfront. Camps run three or five days and are half-day: morning sessions 8 a.m. to noon, afternoon sessions 1 to 4 p.m., with surfboards and gear provided. Instructors work at a 1:4 ratio, adding staff for groups of three or more; private one- and two-hour lessons are available year-round while camps run only in summer.

He helped the students to get the best experience possible, constantly giving them maximum opportunities to catch good waves to practice.
