This is on a military (Air Force) base. Dropped in to see the indoor pickleball courts. Very nice lady, Tam, gave me a tour and explained all procedures. Though this is a tennis club, it doubles as pickleball courts (portable nets). Newly resurfaced courts and lines, and I love that the courts are separated by floor to ceiling netting! Don’t have your own equipment? No worries—this place has it all! There are locker rooms, a small pro shop, and an area for shooting the breeze while waiting for your reserved court or after playing. Cost per person to play is $5. There are open play times as well. I would’ve given five stars but the playing area isn’t air conditioned. We were sweating a lot. The pro shop and lounge are, though. Would definitely play again the next time we’re in the area.
Great place to play pickleball. ..as long as you don't mind getting a good sweat in. If you want air conditioning and to avoid burning calories, then maybe not :) courts are nice, locker room with showers, and a little lobby that is air conditioned, as well as a tennis oriented shop.
Great facilities. Nice place to meet and have tennis fun.
This is a great facility for those who visit or work at Wright-Patterson AFB.
