World of Dance in Saugerties runs a five-day Summer Break Dance Camp, July 27-31, 2026, split into two age and experience groups. The day starts with drop-off at 8:45 and runs through ballet warm-up, two routines, leaps-and-turns or hip-hop tricks tracks, games, a daily craft project and routine reviews, dismissing at 2:45; campers perform on the last day and are provided a performance top. Full-day camp is $300 for ages 8-12; a half-day option for ages 5-7 is $150, with pickup at 12pm. The studio, celebrating 25 years, teaches hip-hop, jazz, tap and ballet fundamentals to ages 3-18.

The studio in many ways is an extension of our family, and certainly of the community in which we are fortunate to live. Year after year Anna has had the opportunity to expand her dance knowledge and skill set, but more importantly, to spend time every single week with the older dancers. These are dancers that are committed to the studio, and to schoolwork, sports, and family. These older dancers are role models for our younger girls, and Anna tells me something weekly (daily??) about things the "older girls" have accomplished. They are holding jobs, getting excellent grades, and building life experiences that will carry them far in life. There is no where else that I can think of that Anna would have this kind of role modeling. Competition dance can be hectic at times with schedule changes and things like that, but these teams handle it well and I could not be more proud of the confident young person that Anna is becoming, driven in great measure by her hours spent at the studio every week. Regina is dedicated to giving so much back to the dancers that give their all. A must-do if you have children interested in dancing.
