Powered by GoogleLOVE YOU WOODWARD 🫶 it was one of the most fun weeks of my life staff was sick the views great and skateparks amazing only downsides are the food is kinda like the hotel crap & the cabin beds are pretty tiny for a taller guy like myself. overall it was a great time and coming back this June for the first week of mtb camp and excited!!!
One of the top notch facilities like it in the country. From the top management down to the staff everyone is very helpful and considerate of each child's need. Great camp for children of all ages who like to stay active and busy! The kids always want to come back it never disappoints! Best decision ever!
Just spent the Holiday weekend at Woodward PA. It was family camp weekend, where my son and I joined 5 other random families in one of the bunk dorms. One of the best weekends of my life, was an unforgettable experience, complete action packed, where my face hurt from smiling the whole time I was there! It took about 10 mins for my very shy 7 year old to mix with a group of other kids and take off on his scooter, where he spent the next 48 hours cruising around the whole camp. Everything about the place was amazing, the skate parks, the parkour set up, trampolines, absolutely everything. We enjoyed the bunk, despite some snoring :), as helped us mix with other families and share the whole experience. We now have a group chat to try and meet up again in the future, as people travelled as far from Atlanta and Toronto to come to this amazing place. I brought my BMX and scooter, along with my sons. I rode all the parks and enjoyed hitting some of the foam pits, after never really riding them before. The food was amazing, always fresh and lots of choice, the staff from chef Brian, to the instructors were all super friendly and knowledgeable. The whole experience from arrival to leaving was memorable, if you are reading this and have kids, I would send them to the summer camp, as they will have the best time and worth every single penny. My son will be back ! (some snapshot photos, as took over 80 in the 2 days)
If your child is an avid gymnast, skateboarder, BMX rider, or pro scooter rider, Woodward Camp in Pennsylvania will be a perfect summer camp experience. The staff is enthusiastic and you can tell they want to be there, working with the kids. Sleeping accommodations are very rustic and spartan so don't expect anything fancy. The facilities for all the sports, however, are state-of-the-art. The camp also has other offerings and other campuses. Their website will have all the information.
My son went here last year for a week. He loved it. He loved it so much he wanted to come all summer long. However, that would be quite expensive we just dropped him off for a three week stent. He is ecstatic. He’s going there for BMX. One of the great things about this camp is they have ex Olympians in the sports come and help coach and teach. My girls that are much older went to this camp many years ago for gymnastics they too loved this camp and have many fond memories. One area that they could do better is evening activities. Make it a little bit more camp like with community bonfire or something. They also need to have the cafeteria open for an evening snack. They only have it open for breakfast lunch and dinner. Especially for the younger kids they need a snack before bed. Most people eat after 5 o’clock.
