Woodstock Playhouse runs a Musical Theatre Performance workshop for ages 7-15 that meets daily from 9:00am to 4:00pm, opening with about two hours of jazz and tap dance and building toward public performances on Friday and Saturday evenings and Sunday afternoons. Participants train in dancing, singing, and acting with the playhouse's professional staff. A separate apprenticeship for ages 16 and up runs June through August on flexible hours, with apprentices attending classes and rehearsals alongside the professional Summer Stock Company. The playhouse, at 103 Mill Hill Road, has operated each summer since 1938.

Powered by GoogleA wonderful theatre with great productions! Their summer series is terrific, and their kids’ shows are perfect for little ones and their parents alike. We have seen many shows and will continue to enjoy performances in the future. Their relationship with the NYCA program is special since the kids who are part of that program get to perform on the same stage as seasoned actors. We highly recommend them!
Nice to see this place. It seems like a museum of Bob Dylan and The Band. It's beautiful and very nice people. We saw a Th Band tribute band. Very good and I grew up playing Rick Danko bass lines so extra nice to hear someone perform them so well.
Great show by Almost Floyd. Great theater!!!
We went to see the show clue. Show was fun, theater and bathroom were all spotless and staff was super friendly ❤️
First time visit and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Very quaint venue. It almost felt like a private party. Woodstock, of course, is a place like no other and that is why it should be on your go to list!
