Do not send your child here is they have special needs and definitely temper your expectations of what the website says they offer. Last year we paid for the entire summer and my son ended up with a chess teacher who has to YouTube how to the chess pieces worked and even at the other campus this year my friend moved her son from the chess club because the teacher had no idea how the knight moved . We had a drama teacher/ counselor referencing kids who are autistic in a negative manner which caused other kids in the class to make fun of my son who is autistic. It was so bad my son came home crying his eyes out and refusing to go back after begging us to go back there in the first place .We reported the incident and promised a call back from the director after we were pawned off on someone else from the camp who called and essentially told us the person denied saying it like my son just made it up. Why would an autistic boy make up being made fun of and refuse to go back to a place he previously liked? After sending another email we were never responded to, told it was too late for a refund and essentially it was my son’s word against this person and they were going with the other person. Never heard from them again. Cautionary tale … no protection for children with special needs . We were very displeased with the response or lack thereof . They didn’t even offer to speak to our son to hear his side. Horrible
My son loves this place. He loves the staff and the friends he is making here. The building is very clean and air conditioned.
