Powered by GoogleI stayed at Zephyr Mountain Lodge without doing much research. Turns out to be one of the best lodging decisions I ever made. The staff was friendly and the room was perfect for me. The best part, Trestle Bike Park and the Gondola were footsteps away. If you go to Winter Park for mountain biking you will not regret it.
Winter Park Resort is an absolutely beautiful place to visit. The scenery is breathtaking, and the mountain views make it a perfect getaway. The atmosphere is cozy, relaxing, and welcoming, whether you’re skiing, exploring, or just enjoying the fresh mountain air. Everything is well maintained, and there are plenty of places to eat and relax. I had a great experience and would definitely recommend Winter Park Resort to anyone looking for a fun and peaceful mountain vacation.
Only stayed the day to enjoy some tubing with a group of friends. The tubing slope was well maintained, staff were really cool people, and lines weren't long at all. At certain times the lift of the slope is free and doesn't require a ticket, so me and my group got to enjoy the sunset at the top. There was live music the night I was there in addition to different shops restaurants, and bars.
First time visiting this resort, and the staff and customer service were absolutely outstanding! Everyone went above and beyond to make sure my 3-year-old son felt heard, included, and cared for. Their kindness toward him truly meant the most to me and my wife!!! I want to give a special thank you to Loa from the Moffat Market kitchen. We actually met him on the bus during his day off, yet he still took the time to be incredibly kind to our son. My son felt like me made a new friend and our shirt buss ride with him. He was so helpful about tips and recommendations. That level of genuine care really reflects the quality of people employed here. Another sincere thank you to Chris and Alicia from Ski Patrol, who assisted me during a medical issue at the mountaintop. Their professionalism, calm response, and willingness to help made a stressful situation much easier. The bus staff were also fantastic — friendly, patient, and always willing to help guide us throughout our stay. We had an amazing trip and will absolutely be back soon. Thank you all so much for making our visit such a memorable experience!
Skiing was great. Mountain offered a lot of varied terrain for all levels. While it is a family resort, I was really bothered with how difficult it is to navigate the resort. If you have little ones do your research. There is very little true ski on/off. Almost all accommodations are taking some sort of shuttle to the resort. The shuttle drops you at the most inconvenient area if you have little kids. You will be walking much more than you want to (approximately 1/4-1/3 of a mile or more). If you have them in ski school, it’s literally the furthest point at the base of the resort from the shuttles. While the skiing was great, I won’t be returning until my children are older just based on how difficult it is transporting them and equipment on the front and back end of the day. Please make it more convenient…you have plenty of space and areas to allow shuttles to drop off at more convenient points.
