It’s a nice space to workout. Not luxurious by no means by has tons of different equipment to use. The male locker rooms/ bathrooms can be disgusting 95% of the time. I don’t think it’s been mopped in 2 years since I started coming here. I bet the floor would be a completely different color. Under the urinals is 2 years worth of piss droplets. It’s actually a health hazard it’s so disgusting. I would never shower here.

A few thoughts on the ARC after coming here for years Pros: cost is reasonable Great facilities The pool and park are great in particular Cons: 1) Too many school sports use it. The main season most of us want to use the indoor sports areas is fa-spring… it seems EVERY school sport practice is here during that time. If you don’t have the daytime off or ability to take your kids during the day, the basketball courts, track, and indoor turf will be packed if not closed off for school sports… 2) staff are friendly, but it’s also a con because they’re too friendly. There is zero enforcement of reckless older kids playing on the youth playground. My child has been knocked over many times, there are things being chucked around, shoes being chucked, kids, climbing up the slide, shoving other kids with staff right there and nothing done.. The playground is not free daycare, I think a lot of kids get left here while waiting for parents to pick them up after school, or while their parents work out, and there is no supervision by parents, and no enforcement by staff. I used to manage a YMCA, and this was the hardest thing to get staff to do, but it really set the standard for what behavior was acceptable And ultimately save money on the repair of equipment due to misuse. 3) only one golf sim? And it’s in bad shape… they need like 3 of them for how many request to use it… 4) summer… no indoor waterpark? Sometimes? Maybe? We think? It’s unfortunate that those that are already at the ark, for other things can’t use the indoor waterpark because they shut it down to staff the water world… Sounds like they need to expand and consider hiring more lifeguards… and when they had inclement weather, further policy, they would open the indoor waterpark. Sometimes, depending on how inclement the weather was.. there was no hard steadfast rule as to when you could expect the indoor versus outdoor waterpark to be open to make plans. Not to mention, my membership covers the indoor pool. You should not take away an amenity that I am paying for, to open an amenity that I would have to pay extra for unless you’re going to include Waterworld in my base membership. Very few people actually use recreation facilities indoors in the summer, the only reason I pay for the annual membership is to use the pool, which is no longer open or available for “free“ with my membership. 5) how is there a facility of this size, with this attendance, and no concession stand. They could make a killing selling concessions during tournaments or on busy weekends…

It was fun there was so many sports you could play and the indoor playground was really fun for little kids! The pool part was also very fun. The wave surf thing was probably my favorite part. The slides were both very fun. The tube slide was so fun. The body one was also really fun and it had lights on the inside and I thought that was really cool! And don't worry... if your kid isn't tall enough to go kn the big slide there is a little slide I n the kids area play ship house thing... I think the place was really fun...!

What a great place to enjoy some down time with the family or just exercise. Tons of options for recreation and swimming. Definitely worth a stop if you are in the area.

It is such a fun place to take kids of all ages! Infant to 99. Lots of fun activities you can enjoy year round. My family loves the aquatic area and basketball court.
