Very disappointed in my experience here. We paid for our child to attend four swimming classes. The first one was rained out, and it was communicated to us via text and phone call before we drove the 30 minutes to the Y. I emailed the person in charge, and they said they only guarantee 3 of the 4 classes, and that if another class is cancelled then we would get a refund for a class. Ok fine. Not ideal and not in the fine print when we signed up. But whatever. We had two good weeks. Our child loved it. We go to the last class. When we arrived, there was a sign stating the pool was closed until Tuesday due to rain. No one called us or emailed. The lady at the front desk stated the class was on land and they were discussing water safety. I asked why they didn't do that on the first class. She said she didn't know. I said I know why, it's because they don't want to have to refund us our money back for a class. Even though I paid for four swimming classes. In a swimming pool. No fine print about guaranteeing only three classes, or that they would hold classes on land if rained out. Very disappointed. Do better by your community.

We were so exited to sign up at a YMCA close to us...the place is grungy, no one cleans up after they use the equipment and theres no boundaries with the kiddos...there was a toddler not even 2 in the weight area and on the walking track...this is not a daycare, we are here to workout...this can pose a dangerous situation for anyone, please get out of the way...the front desk staff is stuck and acts like they don't know what they are doing ( loopy ) And it's frustrating to wait on gym equipment when people just sit there on their phone not doing anything. Staff never walks around to secure the area. The only time I have seen someone clean is at 9pm when everyone leaves.Yes, this is supposed to be a family gym, but there's no standards.

Ok gym, usually pretty slow which is nice. Does not allow you to cancel without showing up in person though, which is the reason for 2 stars. I’ve since moved and now do not have a way to cancel without a very inconvenient trip. These are unacceptable business practices and I will be avoiding YMCA in the future.

Normally I like this location the staff is typically nice. Tonight I observed a women working at the front desk greet 2 women by simply saying "Ladies we're closed," rather than saying anything polite. Then as the ladies were politely leaving she asked in a sort of acusatory fashion "How did you get in here the doors were locked?" This is a very odd way to treat people. I hope that at the very least this review will prompt a conversation with the staff about kindness and using manners when speaking to people. I have been a members for years and witnessing this was really uncomfortable, I cant begin to imagine how uncomfortable the two ladies were after this interaction.

This is a great YMCA location. I was visiting from out of town, I am a YMCA member from a different state. The staff at this location did a great job accommodating my needs during this visit and they were extremely courteous. The facility has everything you need for a great workout, I highly recommend this YMCA.
