It's a bit of a trek out to Wildrock, but I absolutely recommend it. I brought 4 kids here on a Friday morning, ages 3-8, and they had such a lovely time. Staff were kind and helpful. The fenced outdoor play area is worth the trip, even if you don't hit the trails, spend time inside, or do any other educational activities here. What a great institution to have nearby! We hope to be back.

We can't say enough about Wildrock! We've loved visiting over the years for field trips and decided to host a birthday party there. The staff was wonderful to work with, the space was clean and private, and when I realized I had forgotten tablecloths, they were happy to provide them for us. Well worth the drive to visit this incredible space!

Recently went to Wildrock with my son's class and had a blast. Loved the fact that they provide boots for your little ones in case you don't have any. It's nice to see a facility that is centered around the outdoors for a family fun time. The river was the highlight for all the littles (of course) and every play station had a way of engaging the littles imagination. The only downside I personally experienced was the fact that I couldn't just let my son run wild because of the school/group setting. Nature park on steroids!

We came here in late September for a school field trip for my daughter’s 1st grade class. It is a ways away from everything, but I feel like that’s the point for a place that has roots deep in nature. I was impressed right when walking in with a bus load of students. They took 40+ students right in and there was plenty to do for all. Inside they have toys and games to play along with rabbits and a corn snake. We even got to watch the corn snake eat his weekly meal while there, and let me tell you that was the highlight of the trip for the students. My daughter loved the grounds there and all that there was to do. There is hours worth of things here to do. Outside and inside. There is a creek area at the bottom of the property that was a huge hit with all of the kids. They had fun checking out what kinds of flora and fauna were there and just hopping around from stone to stone. One really awesome unscripted event that I observed while there, after our class scavenger hunt was done some of the students were walking around in the field by the pavilion looking at the plants. One of the Wild Rock teachers gave an impromptu horticulture lesson on the benefits of several plants just naturally growing there. I don’t recall the plant, but if you apply it to bug bites it removes the sting. Such a good thing to know and a great learning experience for that group of kids to know that there are things all around them that can help them when they need it most. We will be going back there for sure outside of school just because there is so much to explore and we simply didn’t have time today to see it all.

My daughter and mom had fun there. A lot of things to explore both outdoor and indoor not only for kids but also for the elders. If the weather is too hot or rains, you can move yourselves between inside or outside. They have picnic tables inside so you can bring your own lunch and take time to eat it. My kid learned while playing in the nature. She didn’t want to leave when we were ready to go. It is a non-profit organization and provides nature specialists/educators on site to answer questions. The staff are nice and take care of the kids very well.
