Wilderness Experience is a Duluth nonprofit outdoor ministry running Christian-centered outdoor day camps for youth in kindergarten through 7th grade, based at a 10-acre farm on the north edge of the city. It runs eight week-long camps a summer serving about 111 youth, each with its own theme and skill focus; every camp includes active time outdoors, Bible exploration, journaling and reflection, and time with animals. Programs range across hiking, canoeing, crafting and farming, and the organization also runs a nine-week summer discipleship program for 14- to 16-year-olds.
