Couldn’t emphasize more how wonderful this place is especially for kids. My daughter rode with Missy (the horse) and Anne (the instructor). The prices are very reasonable and no paperwork BS. Pure ride enjoyment.

What a wonderful experience. My four-year-old loved his first horseback ride. His instructor, Savannah, was very patient and challenged him at just the right level. Started by brushing 25-yr-old Dexter for five minutes to get comfortable, and by then my son was so ready that he tried to mount up before she had a chance to explain how. Then we went to the covered arena to take a few laps before progressing to the “obstacle course.” Within 20 minutes, she had my little cowboy navigating Dexter between cones and over the “bridge,” stopping and going on command…by himself! She let go of the reigns and he guided Dexter all by himself! I would 100% recommend Sheridan Creek Equestrian Center for affordable kids’ horseback riding lessons, and we will be back!

Always a great place to be. It's our home away from home. We board our horse here and and my daughter has been in lessons for a year now. All around a wonderful, peaceful, fun place.

It appears their goal is to get you in as a regular monthly customer. To do a one-day ride for a young person doesn't make a lot of sense if you're not in the area. The person who guided our pony ride, was very nice and she basically gave a lesson to my granddaughter.

My daughter received a two hour dressage lesson. The owner and staff love their horses and it shows! Rebecca was a great teacher. My daughter had been riding English jumping but wanted to try something new. I wish we lived closer so we could take lessons here as our new stable! She rode Chip who was a bit of a butt head during the lesson as horses tend to be when trying out a new rider. But Rebecca coached my daughter through how to make him work with her. It was great to watch my child's face light up as she learned new horsemanship skills from a caring and knowledgeable teacher. You should also say hi to Stephie and Grace the two adorable dogs that hang out around the stables with their owners.
