Powered by GoogleI don’t often write reviews, but if you are considering having a birthday party at Aviate - DO NOT. Worst experience of my life truly. I called to schedule and talked with them several times about our party plans. Let them know it was for my 3 year old so I wanted to schedule at 11am when they opened so it wouldn’t be crowded. They failed to tell me that there was a basketball tournament happening at that exact time. When we walked in there was at least 700 people inside. I couldn’t even hear myself think. When I checked in with the front desk they said, and I quote - “uhh I think party room 2? Ya you’re over there, just go around the corner.” So we walked through this crowd of 700. Birthday girl gets knocked over and is crying before her party has even started. It is so loud in there that party guests are literally covering their ears as we are trying to find this party room. I finally find one staff member that says she’s in charge and walks us through the crowd AGAIN, to a room that has another kids name on the door. I told them on the phone several times I wanted to bring my own decor - and the tables were already full of their decor. Clearly they were not prepared for us. When I told her that walking toddlers through a crowd of 700 was not going to work for us she moved us to the flight deck. It was so loud that when we sung happy birthday to the birthday girl you couldn’t even hear it - I wish I could post the video here to explain just how truly insane this entire experience was. The party ended up costing almost $500 and was just the absolute biggest waste of money. I would have felt better lighting $500 on fire and staying home for her birthday. I don’t even have the right words to tell you how horrible of an experience this was. We will NEVER be back to this establishment. Horrible management, horrible service, nobody has a clue what they are doing. Do not have a party here ever if you want kids to have a good time. 0/5 stars from me.
I was very disappointed. There wasn't beach volleyball, or the bag you could swing on, and I was told the pictures that were on Google maps were all old so they didn't have a lot of stuff they used too. There was maybe 1 1/4 hour left until close but was still charged for 2 hours. There were a couple staff that wasn't that friendly or helpful. The small Pepsi slushy was $7, which is crazy!! Probably will not be back.
Cool place but dirty, understaffed, and half the stuff is closed. Tournaments held here are just money grabs. Way over priced and too crowded with not enough seats. If you’re paying $25 per person to watch for the weekend you would think they would at least have a seat for you. The teams don’t get time to warm up. Just push the games through as fast as they can. Courts are in horrible shape.
Thank y'all for partnering with the Wichita fire department for the fire camp for the youth. I'm glad they got to use your parking lot and after the kids all had a blast jumping in your trampoline park.
Moved here from out of state so this is my first time here. This is a really fun cool place, if it was managed correctly. I really want to say it's because they have an event going on today so they're not paying attention to the aviate area.... But there's only one worker that's watching that whole area. There's trash everywhere. The trash cans are all overflowing. In the aviate area when I was watching my kids in the foam pit the slides shut down.... I had to stop multiple kids from just moving the chairs they have in front of it because they were trying to go on it. I did let the worker know she just went back there and fixed it. It seems like they're very understaffed.... I really don't blame the workers. I blame management. Probably come back another day because I am going to say that it's not normally like this. Hopefully it's just because they have a basketball event today.
