Front desk did not make me feel welcome. Faculty is fine.

Just called the Westlake Recreation to get information ,came across the rudest clerk name Tony. Why be rude for no reason, it’s 830 in the morning it’s gonna be a beautiful day! Maybe this is not the place for me because my daughter called someone name Ann I believe that’s a manager and she was really rude to her, she was asking about military benefits. What does this place have against the military? I see why I never joined here. The lady in the day care and the people in the workout area very nice though! Customer service zero stars and others 5 stars!

One of the best rec centers anywhere. Great pool, workout room, saunas, childcare room as well as indoor track, outdoor courts and walking paths. New playground under construction now (2026) and ball fields. Staff is awesome!

Really like the facility..I've been a member for over 10 years. The annual renewal process is always a pain. I think it would be easier and quicker to refinance the national debt than their convoluted renewal process. Constant turnover in front desk staff doesn't seem to help either. It always feels like they're doing it for the first time every year. Super frustrating from an otherwise great facility.

Baseball fields are trash. Soccer fields are trash. Restrooms are trash. Huge investment in Community Center & Pickleball Courts for the blue hairs. Kids get the brown end of the stick again.
