The West Bearden Basketball League is a Knoxville youth basketball rec league serving boys and girls ages 5-17, with over 250 teams and 1,800 players. Alongside its weekly-practice recreational season and January tournament, it runs preseason and offseason development camps and training to build players' skills.

It’s amazing to not only watch the progression of kids athletically through the season, but more importantly the love for basketball grows through the support and fun they’re having. This league emphasizes sportsmanship, and it shows! Parents, referees, and kids are all respectful during games which is not very common in youth basketball these days. When issues have come up, I’ve personally seen how smoothly they’ve handled situations so that everyone is getting the most out of their experience. In a time when referees are hard to come by and experienced refs are even more difficult to come by, this league has done a good job staffing and training. Would highly recommend your child playing for the WBBL over other youth rec organizations in Knoxville – they seem to have done it the longest and do it the right way for everyone to have the best basketball experience!

His overall motivation and determination to be a better player has risen to new heights no doubt to the incredible staff that take their time to mentor him and the other students they coach.
