I have danced in many studios under many different teachers and by far Phyllis Rothwell has created the most professional yet welcoming environment for her students. I attended their recital in back in May (2021), “Vineyard Variations”, and from just that performance I could tell that WYSB’s artistic director, Ms. Rothwell, is very skilled at cultivating a loving environment for learning and growth. Everyone who danced that night clearly has a passion for artistic expression that has been nurtured and expanded due to the teaching of the WYSB faculty.
