City of Phoenix multi-generational recreation center hosting the PHXPlays summer day camp for ages 6-12, with arts and crafts, sports, guest speakers and field trips, and free lunch and snack daily. Camp runs Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The 1969-built center has a full-size gymnasium, seven activity rooms and an auditorium, and sits next to Washington Park with basketball and volleyball courts and softball and soccer fields.

★David GutterI paid my money and showed up at 9 30 when they are supposed to be open at 7 on Mondays. The door was locked and the lady who was in there just stared at me as I knocked looking for some form of explanation of why they are not open and to make it bad it's my first time going so the first impression is horrible.

This center has a well equipped gym!! you join for $20.00 membership for a year! $30.00 for 6 month to use the gym...that is a SUPER BARGAIN (especially during the Summer months) BEAUTIFUL settings, super clean and beautiful neighborhood across the famous Phoenix Tennis center. It is worth it!!! you don't have to be a senior citizen! and you can use any other in Phoenix!! :) :)

These are city owned and run facilities and it's truly a blessing to the community to have these. I put my son in a private camp and he would come home with marks and one day wasn't fed lunch.
