Powered by GoogleMy son doing the cavs program definitely a wonderful place to come the coaches is awesome that teaches the kids . Definitely come and enjoy all what they have to offer. Nice place to be for work outs, swimming, and etc.
There is a new guy by the name of Ron he speaks out of turn as far as being in sync with the coaches. He is terribly offensive and likens everything to the streets. For example, lay down on the ground like you would if the police caught you another one run like someone in the streets are chasing you. He doesn’t fit into this positive program and I’ve been here over a year. If he continues I won’t feel comfortable coming back which is heart breaking because i don’t talk to my grandson like that and there were other parents complaining NEW parents and I let them know this isn’t the normal. Instead of saying you guys can do better at dribbling he said they can’t and that the coaches weren’t teaching them. Violation all they teach the kids is team and that wasn’t team work I trusted the process and this ain’t it. He came over and said something to the parents that were upset after telling the children he didn’t care who didn’t like his approach. His eyes were red and I thought I smelled liquor. One bad apple has seeped in and can easily spoil the bunch . Thank you I will be going up the chain with my concerns Kim Whitmore
Went for the arthritis exercise class in the pool the water was a little on the cooler side compared to the YMCA on Mayfield Road in Lyndhurst. The instructor was very nice and friendly did a good job they had a Jacuzzi which was kind of on the hot side but felt good. They also have lockers in the dressing room. They have lockers and showers.
Everyone is so friendly and answers any questions that you have. They have a lot to offer. I can take classes, swim, and exercise all at the same place. They are willing to help you out and you make a lot of friends there that share your same interests.
12/6/25 I was told to have a talk with Chris Harvey (another coach) about an issue. I walked in the office to sit down and that’s when I was sucker punched! Since they called the police, I decided to follow through with it because I wasn’t going to get them involved! But since they did, I decided to press charges for being “set up” Rashid (coach gray) Gray blamed me for going to talk w/o him present but I was walked in there by another staff member! Mike Carter (director) is refusing to turn over the tape from that day. The police told me that “if it was the other way around they would’ve been gave me that tape” they must know they was wrong and about to face legal charges. They know how they handled that dispute was wrong. Atleast 1-2 other ppl are supposed to sit in just in case something like that happens, to make sure words don’t get mixed up and to make sure it’s not one sided. They failed to keep everyone safe and created an unsafe environment and was negligent! I have two years to file charges! Just waiting on the video. My attorney says it’s not an issue because we can subpoena for the tape and everyone involved but we just want them to submit it on there free will if it’s nothing to hide! Since I’m here, I don’t recall the last time we got our Cavs tickets! Every Jr Cavs program gives vouchers for two tickets. With our fees, a percentage goes back to the Cavs in return we use the Cavs logo and get 2 Cavs tickets OR 4 Charge tickets. I’ve been there 2 years and don’t recall any tickets. The program I was in before Warrensville Y gave us our tickets and the league my son is in now gave us tickets. Overall, this place is ok until it’s not! They let ppl do what they want, nobody held accountable, Gray smoking cigarettes in the doorway giving everyone second hand smoke! Get done working out and have to walk through that! You have some nice ppl there! Rouse, the Thompson’s, the front desk but other than that👎🏾 They can keep denying the detective the tape… I got 2 years!! Family center that’s build on trust and everything good is refusing to clear their name. Once I get the news involved and everything… it’s gone be a different toon! Every text and phone call I received since that day has been saved! Suing the Y for negligence and failing to protect me knowing there was a conflict! Walked me right into an office to be attacked and pressing charges on Coach Chris Harvey for assault!
