The Wabasha Recreation Center houses Winona State University's Outdoor Education & Recreation Center, which runs summer youth climbing camps for children ages 7–12. Campers learn and develop top-rope climbing, bouldering, and knot skills on the center's climbing facility. Scholarships are available for Winona County residents.

Most people i know that pay quit going due to stale routes , registration problems, hours and days open changing but monthly fee stays the same, odd hours, not really made for locals.
