Vista Grande Community Center is a Bernalillo County Parks and Recreation community center at 15 La Madera Road in Sandia Park, open Monday to Friday 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Its published programming for children is before- and after-school care for ages 5 to 14, booked through the county’s online registration portal: the before-school program runs Monday through Friday from 7 to 8:30 a.m. and the after-school program from 3 to 6 p.m., across the 2026-2027 school year, listed at $46.25-$92.50 per quarter or $145-$290 for the full year before school and $68.75-$137.50 per quarter or $217.50-$435 for the full year after school; the center also has its own Reduced Rate Registration application. Vista Grande is one of the centers named on the county’s homeschool flyer for homeschool P.E. and arts and crafts, held twice a week from September through May. The center’s own page otherwise carries adult and fitness offerings — free pickleball every Saturday and Sunday, and strength training and indoor cycling classes — and it publishes no summer camp; the county’s Summer Camps registration calendar lists no Vista Grande program.

Great spot in Bernalillo County for working out indoors or outdoors.

I love calling this place, no one disturbs me while I’m listening to the hold music 🥰

Absolutely amazing place! Our parents love it there, we know that they are safe and well cared for as a community and as individuals. The community members are so kind, as are the grounds keepers and 'most' of the staff at Las Olivas. Truly is a paradise for those who live there.
