Virginia Elite Gymnastics Academy (VEGA) runs summer camps at its Topping / Middle Peninsula gym that mix structured recreational gymnastics with Ninja obstacle-course training, crafts between rotations, themed weeks, contests, group games and free play on the gym equipment. Camps provide full-day supervision by the academy's safety-certified coaches and are aimed at children from beginner through experienced gymnast; the gym also runs school's-out day camps, recreational and preschool classes, tumbling, open gyms and competitive teams. VEGA has operated in New Kent, Williamsburg and the Middle Peninsula for over a decade.
