“She needs to talk to staff before calling a parent” that’s what I was told by your staff because my autistic daughter wanted to call her mom about an issue she was having with another kid that attends there… Upon being on the phone I heard this same staff member come and swear while talking to my daughter among other hostile sounding things. But then turns around and accuses my daughter of swearing when she’s upset… here’s the thing I don’t like about the situation that happened last night! There were two staff in the entryway with my daughter. And when I showed up the doors were locked! You people need to reevaluate what you consider important and stop catering to the bullies that go here!! Everytime there’s an incident the same excuse gets thrown out! “ we can’t watch all of them” this place is literally the place these kids go to fight because they know the staff is blind or simply doesn’t care. Don’t send your kids here because if they get picked on the staff won’t do anything to the kid that’s the problem. Terrible place honestly VYC needs to be shut down I’ll never support this place again. And to Lindsey… maybe you should actually act like an adult instead of trying to be one of the kids by thinking your cool by swearing to them. It’s gross and looks poor on you. And Angelo thanks for showing where your priorities lie because it’s definitely not with the kids who get picked on. What a joke!

I've not had my child attend here and so glad. I was at the park one afternoon with my son and there was a little girl there playing with him. I thought her parents were there but when the adults all left I asked her where her parents were or who she was with and she said the Valley Youth Center but she ran away from them because they were mean to her. I asked if she'd walk over there with me so nothing bad would happen to her, explained to her how sad her mommy would be if anything happened to her and she walked over there. I talked to them and no one knew this tiny girl was even missing!!!! So sad, so scary! Also, very happy it wasnt my child and that it was me who found her instead of some creep! I do NOT recommend this center!!!

What they do for these kids are amazing. My 11 year old son who passed away in late May LOVED going to VYC... especially when he was no longer able to attend school (he had terminal cancer). The staff are amazing. 15/10 would send my kids again.
