Powered by GoogleCame to Greene Family Camp for TCU Frog Camp and it was such an amazing experience! The campus is great, and the scenery by the lake is absolutely beautiful. So glad I got to experience this place!
I was a former camper here when I was a in 4th grade. I need to share my story so others don’t make the same mistake that my parents did. The food was so disgusting that I had lost over 15 pounds within the span of a few weeks. They actually served me moldy bread I really wish I had a photo of that to upload for proof. When my parents came to pick me up, they said my cheeks were no longer Rosie and chubby they looked inverted and dull. The counselors were obscenely rude and the camp director I think her name was (Marissa or Melissa) was even worse. I am 20 years old now and I still think about how this affected me as a child. If you are a parent reading this please reconsider a different camp to send your child to. My relationship with my parents will never be the same because they sent me here. I feel like a can’t trust them till this day. Sending your child to this summer camp isn’t worth hurting or tarnishing your long term relationship with your child.
As a former camper who spent countless summers at Greene making lifelong friends and cherished memories, it’s incredibly special to now experience camp through my children’s eyes. Watching them create their own adventures and connections at Greene fills me with so much joy and nostalgia. L’dor v’dor.
I stayed recently and really wanted to share how impressed I was. I got in on a Friday evening, left on Sunday. The food, vegetarian friendly and so delicious! This was one of my biggest concerns coming to camp! The property is beautiful. Would love to see it in spring or summer! I loved the individual temp controls in each motel room & the size, not too big and not too small! I wanted to leave a note in my room saying thank you but couldn’t find a pen, so thank you Greene Family Camp! 🙏🏼
The food is delicious. The cabins are great, the lake was beautiful and there is so much more to see! I had a pretty darn good time!
