I have downgraded my rating on Uptown from 5 to 1 star, based on most recent experience: They have made the decision that their patrons don't matter, which is quite a change from past behavior. Must be new management, or something similar. I bought tickets with a reserved seat. They changed my ticket to a general admission seat, changed the time of the performance from 7pm to 8pm, changed the venue to one much less enjoyable, and refused to refund my $ at my request. Instead they offered credit toward a future performance, which means I will never get credit as I will never buy another ticket to this unreliable "joint". We've been to Uptown about 8 times in the past year or so, and are always excited about what's coming up next. 90% of the time, the performances are beyond belief -- better than what I saw live when I lived in Philly. Truly, some of the best in the Philly area. On top of that, the venue is absolutely the best: small, and close in. Parking there is easy. Enjoy!

Nice venue to watch a show. Not a bad seat anywhere. Enjoyed it there.
