Upper Merion Performing Arts runs youth musical theatre programming out of Temple Brith Achim in King of Prussia. Its summer camp for grades 3-6 is a full day, 9:00am to 3:00pm, with extended-day options from 8:30am to 4:00pm at higher tuition and a sibling discount. Students in grades 7-12 instead join a summer-long evening rehearsal program that auditions in late May and rehearses two to three nights a week toward a August production such as Into the Woods Jr., with a full tech week before performances.

Powered by GoogleMy daughter had a great time in UMPA camp this summer! She was a little nervous about being on stage but her castmates and the staff made her feel confident & provided a warm and fun experience. So impressed with the students and how much they accomplished in just a week - they put on quite a show!! We will definitely be back!!
Amazing people putting on fun productions for our youth 🤩 check them out! The staff does a fabulous job working with getting all the kids involved and bringing JOYFUL smiles to each of them and their audience!
My daughter just participated in their first ever summer camp and I would give this program a 20 out of 10, hands down. My daughter has autism and can struggle in social situations, Daniel and the staff at UMPA went above and beyond to make sure she felt included and comfortable the entire week. She had an amazing time, to say the least. I was also astounded at the overall performance and what they were able to put together in just one short week. We cannot wait to do much more with UMPA!
Wonderful program that my granddaughter thoroughly enjoyed! The staff couldn’t have been more helpful and pleasant!
