Uinta County Youth Camp
Uinta County · AA County Rec & Parks
Uinta County's 640-acre youth camp at the foot of the Uinta Mountains near Robertson, established in 1972 as a communal camp for young people. The property has an upper area with a main lodge and twelve cabins (including a special-needs cabin), a lower river area with a smaller lodge and campsites, a yurt, rifle/shotgun/pistol ranges, a fishing pond, and Blacks Fork River access. It is a group-use facility rented by youth groups, churches, Scout units, 4-H, and family reunions rather than an open-enrollment program.
The practical details
We list only what the camp itself publishes, and programs change — dates, prices, ages and availability can all move after we check. Confirm the details on the camp’s own website and contact Uinta County directly before you register or pay. Last checked August 2026.

Beautiful area. Nice cabins, bathroom, and lodge area.
Had my wedding there and it was amazing. The facilities were clean. The scenery was gorgeous and the caretaker was amazingly helpful and friendly. We'll be using that site again.
I never attended camp here; but I did just officiate a wedding here on the weekend of September 8-9. After being there in person, I really wish I'd have gone to camp there! The grounds are beautiful, the facilities are great. Everything was very clean and well maintained. It's a great facility.
This is one of the best maintained places ever. The caretaker was awesome. Held a wedding there and you can't pick a better place for the best wedding photos no matter what your photography skills are. The playground and games in the warming lodge were a real hit with the kids. I don't think the prices can be beat either. We will definitely be back.
