UGM Camp
Private
UGM Camp is a free week-long overnight summer camp on 125 riverside acres near Ford, about an hour from Spokane, run by the Union Gospel Mission for children ages 8 to 11 from Spokane's low-income neighborhoods. Kids are invited through local churches and sponsored by donors, so camp is completely free for families; activities use the playfield, sport court, ropes course, walking trails and river frontage, with volunteer counselors from partner churches. Faith-based, with a mission of building trusted adult relationships.

We were there for a wedding. It was very fun. Be aware that it is a great place to "unplug". We weren't aware ahead of time so that did create some challenges but it is beautiful and really relaxing venue!
Beautiful place! Very affordable if you have a big group or even a small team building group. They have fun staff during the summer for youth programs during the summer and friendly caretakers for the rest of the year. They have a great kitchen and dining hall, sport court, several small cabins, a nice home like cabin, a river, challenge courses, and more!
I am not much of a "camp" person.. the time spent with friends was wonderful! The camp itself was nice, cabins where clean for the most part. The one thing that was frustrating was the water system they have. Couldn't take shower, brush teeth, wash face, ect... They had sulfate or something of that nature in the water to clean it.
This place is awesome I get to go up a lot for different reasons but when I go up there to lead a cabin there nothing like helping others. There a lot of things the kids can do up there. It a great place for believers in God and even for non believers. The staff members are so helpful, friendly and understanding. They make should the camp in good shape for anyone who visit the camp.
