Camp Friendship is a fully accessible overnight camp for children and adults with developmental, physical and learning disabilities, on 115 acres of woodland along Clearwater Lake near Annandale, about 60 miles from the Twin Cities. Multi-day sessions use adaptive activities and personalized support; facilities include modern cabins, an indoor pool, gymnasium, climbing wall, ropes course, nature building and arts and crafts building. It is run by True Friends, a nonprofit serving about 4,000 people a year across three Minnesota camps, with campers ranging from age 5 into adulthood.

★★★★★Daniel TjaderI do attend here and it is pretty fun. However they have a games room. And maintenance DOESN'T tend to the games there. The pool table needs resurfacing and the ball pockets need to be fixed. Both foosball tables need major attention. One of them needs a new scoreboard, as it only has one. The other one needs the players tightened, a new stopper as one rod comes all the way out, the goals need to be fixed, as the balls will fall out and it could also use two new scoreboards, as they are in bad condition. Other than that, it's actually really really fun here! I just wish all these game tables were fixed, so bad. I've brought it up many times. Edit: They only have one maintenance guy, and he's awesome! He's fixed the foosball tables, and has done so much more! I talked to him last time I was here, and he immediately listened to my concerns, after I addressed them to him, and he immediately went to look at the issues. I guess the issue was the messenger. Whoever that may be.

It allows adults and children/youth with disabilities a FULL week long overnight camp in which all of your personal cares, and medications are given. You can be anywhere from severely impaired to just needing a little help. The camp offers scholarships and used MN CADI waiver funds to cover the camps expenses for you. Staffing is either 1:1 or 1:3 depending on your needs. I have been here 2 days and am having An AMAZING TIME! HIGHLY recommend this camp! I'm wheelchair bound but the camp has accommodation for ALL ABILITIES and LEVELS of care! Definitely returning again next year!
★★★★★Brandon MooreI had a great time at Camp Friendship these last two days! I stayed for one night as part of a program. The cabins are clean and well furnished and the DeGross conference center is large and comfortable. The lake amenities are a fun addition to the location. As is the fire amphitheater. The one thing I’d change is that the basketball court is mislabeled as ‘gym’ as far as I know there isn’t a proper gym at the location. Although, all around it’s a great place!
