Camp Eden Wood is a True Friends camp for children and adults with physical, developmental or intellectual disabilities, serving individuals age 5 and older. Core programs include summer and winter resident (overnight) camp, year-round weekend respite care and specialty travel; True Friends also announced a day camp option. The 51-acre site sits in the woods on Birch Island Lake in Eden Prairie and accommodates up to 80 people in dorms and cabins. True Friends is a nonprofit; the site opened in 1925 as the Glen Lake Children's Camp and has been under True Friends management since 1995.
