Powered by GoogleWe celebrated my 6 year olds birthday here and it was perfect. Plenty of room for the kids to run and play and plenty of space for food, lounging and cake! We easily had 40+ people and still plenty of room for more! 10 out of 10 recommend!!
If I could give more than 5 stars I would! I HIGHLY recommend Tri-Cities Edge to anyone. The staff is so friendly and supportive. I know when I bring my kids to Tri-Cities Edge that they are going to feel welcome and comfortable. My two daughters started cheer here in 2022 and they fell in love with the sport and I know that this gym and their programs were a huge part of that. They have so many programs to offer from classes, recreational cheer, half year cheer, elite cheer, and so much more, there really is something for every kiddo. The owners are phenomenal and have the best interest of every child and their individual needs top of mind. Thank you Tri-Cities Edge for giving my children the best cheer experience I believe they could have. I am forever grateful for this business!
My daughter was part of an elite cheer program for a year. Initially, we committed to a half-year program, but her exceptional skills necessitated a switch to a more advanced team. The coaches and parents were initially warm and inviting, but it soon became apparent that a social pecking order had emerged, which I was unprepared for. Around Halloween, several mothers began to exclude my daughter and me, treating us with disdain. Uncertain about the motivations behind this behavior, we chose to maintain our distance, and I avoided interacting with the other mothers to prevent unnecessary drama. As time went on, I stopped attending practices to minimize conflict, puzzled by the unjust treatment, considering we all paid the same fees and were part of a team sport that emphasized cooperation and unity. Fast-forwarding a couple of months, Throughout the season, I faced persistent mistreatment but prioritized my daughter's experience, as the team remained somewhat friendly toward her. However, as the season progressed, the team's dynamics suffered due to the coaches' favoritism and failure to address bullying, resulting in uneven treatment and opportunities for teammates. The coaches persisted in ignoring the bullying within the team. Eventually, I formed friendships with the ostracized mothers, and collectively, we realized that the coaches were engaging in favoritism. Considering the team's struggles, it may have been unwise to participate in the cross-country competition. The team's consistent poor performance, inability to master their routine, and interpersonal conflicts raise concerns. I shared these concerns with the coach, emphasizing the safety risks and financial burdens. However, the coach responded that participation is preferable to non-participation, disregarding my concerns about the athletes' well-being. Apparently, coaches and gym owners receive substantial benefits when traveling for work, including complimentary Disney entry and a full tax write-off for the trip, which seemed to take precedence over the athletes' well-being and happiness, as evidenced by their distressing experience on stage, where they were unable to complete their routine and finished last, overcome with emotion. Following this practice, we continued to prepare for an upcoming showcase. The coach proceeded to modify the routine, incorporating level three skills despite the team's struggles with level two skills. I reiterated my concerns, emphasizing the potential dangers of advancing to more complex skills without mastering the fundamentals. However, the coach disregarded my concerns, and my daughter's eagerness to perform led me to acquiesce. Fortunately, no injuries occurred, but my daughter sustained two minor ankle injuries throughout the season, which I believe could have been avoided if the team had fostered a stronger bond and more effective communication. The banquet is another matter. The gym hosts a slideshow of the season, which I did not attend, but my daughter did, accompanied by a friend from her team. Regrettably, some parents displayed disrespect towards my daughter and another girl leaving the gym, making disparaging remarks that drew the attention of other parents, who subsequently informed me. I am thoroughly disheartened by the ill-treatment of my 12-year-old daughter and the gym's inability to prevent such incidents. The behavior has prompted multiple parents to reach out to me, expressing their disapproval and deciding not to return. The owner/coach's unprofessional behavior is evident in their inability to maintain eye contact during conversations, and their approach seems to prioritize social standing over the children's growth. I offer you my best wishes, and I hope they will extend more respectful treatment to other children. Regrettably, the children's interests appear to be overlooked unless your a favorite.
I go Wednesday’s $5 for kids. My son’s always running around and having fun! My little (2 years old)one some times goes to toys room to play.
Rented this location out for a party. There is a kitchen area and the gym room. It was a very fun experience. All the adults joined in the fun. Love that there was no children limit. The staff was amazing, very helpful and sweet. Definitely will be doing parties there again.
