I went to camp from 2007 - 2017. As a homegrown camper, CIT counselor, then head counselor, I couldn't be more grateful for my time at Tranquillity. The friends I made are still my best friends to this day (Im about to turn 30). In a hyper connected world, it's increasingly more necessary to find ways for kids to disconnect. TY did that for me and so much more. It's a very diverse camp in terms of a activities. Sports, theatre, arts, etc. There's something for everyone. Beyond activities, I truly believe my time at TY instilled lifelong values that I use every day. Ultimately - doing right by others and treating people with inherent kindness and respect. I couldn't be more grateful. I hope to send my kids there at some point...

My grand-daughter has been going to this camp since 23’. She loves it so much and on the trip there she always asks, “Are we almost there?” Even when me and my wife go there on visiting day, we get to admire the 1,200 acres of Camp TY. Through my friend in 2015, we were introduced to Tranquillity Camp. My daughter was a camper, CIT, Junior Counselor, Counselor and then Head Counselor. She made lifelong friends and had an amazing experience every year!! Tranquillity Camp is and always will be her home away from home thanks to the administration, counselors and then co-workers. She even learned how to play Mahjong!! Thank you Tranquillity Camp for giving my daughter some of her greatest memories!!

camp is one of my favorite places on earth. it’s like a second home to me. i have been coming to camp since i was about 8 years old and it has constantly been getting better and better. being a camper in camp the staff was always there for me whenever i needed someone, they have helped me when i was scared of the storms and everything like that. i constantly made new friends of all ages. i got super close with my age group and see them not only in camp every summer but outside of camp all the time too. i am now turning 17 and am still going. i am on staff and it has only gotten better. camp is a place i can escape to when i need one. my camp friends are always there and i continue to go to see my friends. they are the main reason i come back. these friends will last a life time. camp has taught me so much about making life long friends and enjoying activities without needing my phone. not only are my friends there for me but so is upper staff and the directors. i continue to go with the constant feeling of love and support. camp is my home away from home.
