Food and exercise are essential services. Some of the machines in the mostly-senior exercise room have cables that need replacement; these are simple and inexpensive to fix; we wish that would happen soon. That's my only complaint, really. The children's play area has been recently upgraded. Wonderful, low-cost organized lunches are served several days weekly. There are so many activities for all ages, I couldn't list them all, but if you come in you'll find something interesting for everybody.

A great community center with lots of activities on offer to attend and a small gym! They even offer preschool for 3-5 year olds which is a wonderful addition and resource for local families! The playground structure is brand new too! I highly recommend the preschool, my son attended there and loved it! The staff are wonderful and very polite.

Our church (Pilgrim Bible Church) meets there in the Steilacoom Community Center every Sunday. The church has been meeting there for over 10 years. The staff of SCC have always been kind and generous towards us.

I just had my son’s graduation party at the Steilacoom Community Center this past weekend. Ms. Kristal was very helpful and kind. The place was nice and spacious, tables and chairs are provided. We were also allowed to use the kitchen. The kids were also allowed to use the playground and basketball court while the party was going on. They have a big stage as well if you have performers/entertainment. You do need to bring your own mics and sound system. Will definitely use the community center again.
