Powered by GoogleWe adore TimberNook camp! It's the perfect balance of freedom to play and explore in nature with enough structure and supervision that kids (and their parents) feel safe and supported. Halley and her staff are amazing. I couldn't like this camp any more.
We were blown away by this camp. My son is very hesitant in new situations and has had difficulty in the past with attending camps when he is unfamiliar with the setting/people. He absolutely flourished in this setting. They spent the day outside in the woods and had SO much fun. You could tell the kids were exploring, learning, and using their imaginations to grow and learn through play. We highly recommend this camp and plan to be back again next year!
This is what childhood is all about! My kids had a blast at Timbernook and I love the open ended play with mixed age grouping immersed in nature all day! As an educator, I appreciate the thoughtful approach to offering a program that provides fundamental and imperative opportunities for children to develop cooperation, collaboration, creativity and confidence through play. We are looking forward to another week this summer!
This was our first year attending summer camp here. Both of my kids enjoyed every aspect of the camp. It well surpassed all of our expectations. The camp is well organized, fun, creative and full of wonderful childhood memories and creative play experiences, which are so important at these ages. Highly recommend for kids of all ages! We will definitely be back next year!
My son had a great week at TimberNook camp! Of all the camps that my son has been to, this was the first one where we didn't have to fight with him to go on Thursday and Friday because he was having such a great time. He enjoyed new activities and adventures every day. I personally appreciated that the camp leader sent emails daily sharing what the kids did and included pictures. Highly recommend!!
