★★★★★ A Truly Magical Wedding Weekend Our son and daughter-in-law chose Timber Lake Camp for their wedding weekend, hosting more than 100 family members and friends, and it could not have been a more perfect setting. From the moment we arrived with a fully loaded van two days before the wedding, and greeted by Camp Director Scott, until the farewell brunch the day after, every aspect of the experience exceeded our expectations. The beautiful Catskill Mountain setting, impeccably maintained grounds, outstanding facilities, and warm, attentive staff created an atmosphere that was both relaxed and unforgettable. While the bride and groom were exceptionally organized, the Timber Lake Camp team elevated the entire event through their professionalism, flexibility, and flawless execution. Every detail seemed to unfold seamlessly, allowing everyone to focus on celebrating and enjoying the weekend. Our guests were consistently amazed by the beauty of the camp, the quality of the accommodations and amenities, and, most of all, the extraordinary hospitality shown by the staff. We are especially grateful to Willow, Ollie, Liz, and Reggie, whose dedication, positive attitudes, and willingness to go above and beyond made a lasting impression on our family and guests. Timber Lake Camp provided far more than a venue—it created the setting for memories that will be cherished for a lifetime. We offer our highest recommendation and heartfelt thanks to everyone who helped make this wedding weekend so special. — Proud Parents of the Groom ❤️

The Timberlake Camp team hosted our group of 132 people over a 3-day camping retreat. All of the food, events, activities were perfectly executed. The staff themselves are super friendly and it felt like they were an extension of our team, even the owner was helping with the campfire and a host of other things! The entire retreat was seamless and easy. The cabins were all clean and most were newly remodeled- our team felt right at home. Highly recommend them and would absolutely plan another event with them one day!

From the moment we pulled up to Timber Lake Camp and saw the mountain views we knew we wanted our wedding there. The views and grounds are absolutely beautiful. We knew we wanted to be able to have time to spend with all of our family and friends and TLC allowed us to do just that. Meredith was AMAZING throughout the entire planning process, always answering our emails in a timely fashion and willing to schedule a call for us. She helped us coordinate visits to the camp before our big day so we could plan accordingly. We were able to arrive (with family) on Thursday to start setting up everything for the weekend, which was great because it allowed us to have some time on Friday to relax before all our guests started to arrive. One of the great things about TLC is you can make the wedding into anything you would like it to be, granted it takes a lot of extra work, planning, and coordination, but I would not have changed a thing. Our guests have not stopped raving about how thoughtful all of the details we put into the wedding were and how much the venue represented us a people and a couple. The TLC staff were absolutely incredible the weekend of our wedding. From the moment guests arrived, they were greeted at the front gate, given directions on parking, and then provided transportation via golf cart to their cabins. Everyone had such a great time at the camp. Reggie and Sheila (and other staff) made us DELICIOUS meals throughout the weekend that everyone enjoyed! Scott was amazing in helping coordinate all of the events for the weekend and making sure everything ran smoothly. Special shout out to Willow for his support and assistance with everything and anything that came up during the weekend! At all points there were golf carts around to transport our guests anywhere they needed to go, whether it was to the bonfire Friday and Saturday nights, the golf course, the kickball game Saturday morning, to/from ceremony, or just getting around the camp, someone was there to help. We chose to open the waterfront for Saturday (an extra fee), but was so worth it. Our guests had the best time going down the water slide, kayaking, and using the pool before the wedding. We cannot recommend TLC for your wedding weekend enough!

We just got home from a wedding that was hosted at TLC this past weekend and we had such an unforgettable experience. The grounds are gorgeous and well maintained. The kitchen staff was next level, I’m not sure what I was expecting but each member of my family was full and happy after each meal. There were a few things in the cabins that could maybe get a little update (and doors put on the bathrooms?) but it was picked up and surprisingly comfortable. The highlight for sure had to be the staff. They were incredibly attentive and kind. We were in an off limits area and my son was pretty bummed out we had to leave but Willow turned that frown upside down so fast with a golf cart ride. Every time my son saw him, he had to say hi. The staff truly went above and beyond. I was genuinely bummed out when it was time to head home. Thank you all for an incredible weekend. ❤️

We got married at Timber Lake last September, and it was truly magical. The setting is gorgeous and it’s wonderful to have full reign of the camp. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming and always happy to help us with whatever we needed. When we were first planning our wedding, we were looking for a more traditional venue for a standard, one-day ceremony. We stumbled across Timber Lake Camp, and we are so glad that we pivoted to planning a weekend affair. Choosing a venue like Timber Lake allowed us to create a multi-day event that was specific and meaningful to us and our guests. Having the full weekend meant we had time to have meaningful interactions with everyone there, which is much more difficult during a one-day affair. Timber Lake’s staff supported us from start to finish. In the planning process, our coordinator, Meredith, was very accessible and we had multiple zoom meetings with her leading up to the wedding. She answered our long lists of questions diligently, and gave us all the information we needed to know. Meredith worked with us to create exactly the weekend we wanted to create. There are several standard events they provide (the late night bonfire with smores was a hit with our guests), but they are also open to any other activities you suggest. We had a cabaret night in their theater on Friday, a partner dance class the morning of the ceremony (so guests could learn a few moves), and an arts and crafts table accessible all weekend long. They were happy to accommodate whatever activity we wanted. Once we were there for the weekend, the staff was accessible and always looking to solve problems. The kitchen staff was incredibly generous in making sure that everyone was always happily fed. We felt well taken care of and always had someone to ask questions when they inevitably came up. Special shout out to Alice, who helped one of our groomspeople to decorate our arch with wildflowers picked on the campus! We want to note that Timber Lake is not primarily a wedding venue, and it has all the advantages and disadvantages that entails. This allowed us to have the level of personalization and involvement that we wanted and that made our weekend so special. It also means the process is a little more hands-on for us as the couple and for the wedding party. We really enjoyed being part of setting up on the day before the guests arrived and having our wedding party there for an extra night to help, but we know that’s not for everyone. This may be less true depending on the caterers or wedding planner you hire, but we really loved that all parts of the weekend came from us and our loved ones. Also because the staff needed to deal with the camp, sometimes emails took a day or two to get a reply, but they were always answered thoroughly and within a reasonable amount of time. We are so happy with our experience at Timber Lake camp and could not recommend it more highly to anyone interested in a personalized, full wedding weekend!
