My kids love this place! They enjoy roaming free in the woods, playing with friends, and exploring. It's such a special spot.

Wonderful summer experience for my twin 5-year-old boys! TTT focuses on actually being outside and in the woods, and gave each boy a rich and valuable experience in nature. We loved it!

Our daughter had the best time at Through the Trees this summer! What a lovely and magical place to spend your days as a kid in the trees and with very kind and supportive counselors.

Through the Trees is the highlight of my kids' week. They find companionship and the opportunity to learn from their peers as well as the natural world. It can be a place of solace and wild-boy adventures. The outdoor environment gives them a sense of freedom to explore, but it also requires self-awareness and the skills to face whatever weather or season comes along. My kids come home muddy and smelling of a campfire, but they get in the car with stories of navigating conflict, helping with younger kids, and learning about the curious lives of unlikely friends. The guides are caring, respectful, and inclusive. My boys seek out their guides with cool ideas about projects and with tricky situations among friends. Participants engage at their own pace. Consequently, TTT is a very safe place for quiet kids as well as the most gregarious ones. As we balance homeschooling, sports schedules, and societal influences, Through the Trees is both an escape from the chaos of growing up, as well as a wonderful place for kids to learn who they are and feel celebrated in the process.

Our two boys started Through The Trees in fall 2020 and so far they have loved their experience. Each week they tell us of their adventures in the woods and all the things they get to learn about and explore. I love the child-led approach that TTT takes to get the kids involved and excited about lessons in nature!
