Powered by GoogleI was gonna give them a 5 star when I heard Delta Wrestling Alliance was gonna do a show with them. But since they cancelled the DWA show. They get a 1 star. Shouldn't screw over companies when they try to business with you.
Great place for the kid's to go hang out. A good safe centered place that all ages could come as a meeting place. It calms my nerves as a parent knowing such a place is available to our children. To name a few, we have basketball with girls & boys. Many more activities. In our generation, there wasn't any such thing. Much more to the Civic Center than just for the children. Many other activities for the seniors too ! So come and check it out. ....etc. Clean clean clean. For school kids. If your parents work longer hour's, you may go to the Civic center and oblige by the rules, makes new, old friends and have some fun after school program. ENJOY KIDS:)
It's good to know there is a safe local place right across the street from the municipal building and Throop Police station where kids and the community can go to for whatever the reason. I like the events that were held there when it was the older building and I love the events being held there nowadays in the much nicer new(ish) building. I was able to create awesome memories with my kids this year at the 1st(that I know of) Throop Trunk or Treat that was held there for Halloween like my Dad did with me when I was young and he would take me through(ok, carry me through) the old haunted buiding.
I would have gave it 5 stars but they made it 5 dollars to use the gym. It's still free for locals but that's not a good way to get people to come in. They always keep it well maintained and the gym is great. That's my only problem I have with them. Otherwise a good place for your kids to play safely.
Super local facility for basketball and gaming. We just held my son's birthday party here and besides being very reasonable, the staff are friendly and very accomodating. It was a wonderful experience and we will be back again.
