We loved our first experience at Theatre of the Republic. The Actors were great. Seats were great and comfortable. The Theatre is easy to find, street parking. The staff and volunteers were friendly.

Amazing and fantastic theatre and such a hard-working group mof people helping in the community. They constantly and consistently do an incredible job with all of the performances. They have top-level talent and an excellent staff.

Wonderful experience! This was my first time at the theatre and I saw the Nutcracker. The show was fantastic with great lighting and scenery (digital backround was very cool). The staff were so friendly and helpful. The theatre was clean and the seating was great. I was in row E and I had a great view. The floor isn't sloped as much as it could be, so the heads in front of you do block a little of your view, but not enough to diminish the experience (I attached a picture of my view from this row). Some people commented on seating not being comfortable, but I had plenty of legroom for an average sized woman and the seats were typical theatre style. I was perfectly comfortable. Parking is plentiful nearby and its not a huge theatre (I attached a picture from the back of the theatre) so its quick to get in and out of. My family and I will be back to see more shows!

I was there for the first time yesterday to see The Wizard of Oz, one of my favorite stories. The cast was amazing as was the sound, lighting & special effects. They pulled off the twister beautifully. So much better than I expected from a community theater production. I took off 1 star because of the seating. Narrow seats with no leg room. At 5'11" it reminded me of economy airline seats. Loved the show. Would recommend.

Just got home from the 3 pm Jeckyll and Hyde show. At first it was a little hard getting into the play. I had trouble hearing the actors talking behind the screen. But once the screen went up, I was hooked. Great singing, acting and costumes. The actor who played Dr. Jeckyll was so good and convincing as he tried to fight off Mr. Hyde. After the show, when the whole cast stood outside on the sidewalk, I didn’t know what to do. I took a few pictures and left. Next time I will know that it was my opportunity to say hi and thank them for their wonderful performance.
