The Warrior Factory Syracuse

I recently brought my 3 year old to the weekend Tiny Ninja class and left extremely disappointed. I both emailed and left a voicemail for The Warrior Factory, but received no reply. I felt the Tiny Ninja class was run poorly, developmentally inappropriate, and did not utilize the course. I was surprised that a $30 class was being taught by a high school freshman. The class was marginally better when the high school senior joined in to help. The size and age of this class certainly warranted two teachers, or a teacher and a helper. The structure of the class would work really well for elementary age children and above and indeed other reviews for classes/parties for children of that age are excellent. Specifically, I think expecting this age group to sit and listen to directions perfectly "or we're not going to do anything" and also asking them to vote on if they "want to play a game or do a ninja activity" is not realistic. In fact, I'm sure many parents bring their preschoolers here to get their wiggles out in a structured setting. We should be expecting movement from this age and we should be expecting activity selection by the teacher. An opening and closing activity would help, and perhaps a circle marked on the floor for all of the times the students were asked to form a circle. If this age is not supposed to be on the concrete, perhaps rope it off. Or have a section of the gym specifically sectioned off for this age group, even if it is a movable barrier that is only put up for this age group. I would consider returning to The Warrior Factory when my child is older, as it seems well set up for that age group. But I would reconsider the Tiny Ninja offering.

Signed my grandson up to help build his confidence, strength and coordination, lots of activities to do this. My complaint would be not much instruction and guidance the instructors let my grandson fall many times because they were gazing off. One fall was face first, other was a bad back landing thank goodness it was a soft landing. I was just looking for more instruction and instructors who paid lil more attention to the student in front of them or in general. There were a few who did offer a lil more guidance.

Amazing experience, having our daughter’s 9th birthday at The Warrior Factory Syracuse. Ryan and the entire staff were fantastic, they took care of all the details for me. I literally showed up with a cake and party favors, and the staff handled the rest. Kids also had a blast. Thank you!!!

I could not recommend this place enough!!! So amazing. Had my 4 year olds birthday here and it was amazing. The staff took care of absolutely everything. You know how chick fil a is the customer service Mecca for fast food, these guys are it for birthday parties.
