The Story Garden is the award-winning outdoor play space at The Discovery Center of the Southern Tier in Binghamton, which runs an 8-week summer day camp for children ages 3-10. Pre-K sessions (ages 3-4) ease children into a school-like setting, while ages 5-10 follow weekly themes such as Dino Detectives and Invention Convention with art enrichment and exploration in the Story Garden.

I will say it is surrounded by parking lots and kind of hilly so if you have younger kids you have to be very careful. But overall it was absolutely beautiful and so well maintained! My kids could have spent all day here!

You can really tell how much care went into every square foot of this place. I suggest sitting in the hanging chair and drinking a Dunkin iced pumpkin coffee as I did. Highly recommended. Oh, also, I'm sure my kid must've had fun. Just kidding, he definitely had fun.

There are slides and things to climb but not really any playground equipment per-say, it's so much more than that, it's a land of discovery. All my kids absolutely loved it here, especially having lunch then playing on nice days after the Discovery Center.
